Today was our first monthly medal for the year., and we had a field of 24.  We have a few ladies away due to ill health and other commitments. The weather was fine and windy , but yet another good day at Tally Valley.

There are a few things the committee would like the ladies to read, being  the information at the back of the program, and one of them  which is related to SLOW PLAY.  We would also like to point out, in paragraph 2, and ask that you all read and understand… and note, if you are the lowest handicap, your responsibility to your team on the day. This also means explaining golf etiquette to players in your group, particularly if they are new to golf, and or, the Club.

Today was a challenge for the results…. and due to a ‘hiccup’ in the final analysis, when the MiClub wouldn’t accept any of  player 2 scores … which drastically altered alot of the outcome … so, we,  ( match committee) have decided to go with the scorecards of our player ….as presented.

We, the Committee, would also like to point out, that it is not our responsibility to find a player a cart … that is the players choice, as to ask around, and find one, or book and pay for it yourself….

Today’s match will also not be handicapped … but we would advise players, that the Club Captain outlined the rules of play and card marking today … so , please heed her advice…

As you are aware, a  change  of the hole index has occurred for 2021, but its still the same 18 holes… so please pay attention to the new format of play.
