Happy New Year for Tally Valley Ladies Golf: it all starts again.
We had a field of 25 today, which was lovely… the weather stayed dry thank goodness, even tho we did have a brief shower. The run left us today, which was a shame, but it’s sure to return. It was really a good day for golf, sun, rain and cloud cover and great company.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO DAPH, who kindly donated a beautiful platter of cheese and lots of delicious nibbles, it was just stunning and very much appreciated by all.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO DENISE, who, once again, organised the Melbourne Cup Sweep brilliantly, so good luck everyone. Denise also put together gift parcels, from all the donations greatly received from our members, and as we’ve come to except, she puts them together beautifully, which were raffled off today.

Was another good day at Tally today, weather was looking iffy, but we just managed to get through the day without getting too wet. We had a field of 26 for the annual Medal of Medals round, with some great score as well.
We welcomed our new member, Julia Van Dartel, and we hope she enjoys her time here with us.
We also bid farewell to our very special lady, June Kennedy… June has been a long standing and much loved member of Tally Valley for many years…. and it is with a heavy heart that she, and we, say goodbye. June has had a very difficult year, with the loss of her beloved Pete, and we all sincerely wish her all the love and best wishes for her new life in Adelaide with her family.

Well, was another great days golfing at Tally Valley… was rather warm and the run is fabulous… We only had a field of 16 today, for the annual Presidents Vs Captains Team event, and alot of fun was had. As this was a single stableford event, it has been handicapped.
