Monday 16th November, saw us hold our AGM and we said a BIG thank you to Outgoing Club Captain, Ingrid… who has done an amazing job over the past three years. Also, we said another BIG thank you to Fran, as outgoing Treasurer, Fran has held this position for over 5 years, and also done fabulous job. Both ladies are remaining in the Club and looking forward to playing more golf.

We also drew 2  ‘lucky players card’ for a $20 gift voucher, kindly donated by one of our valued sponsors, Parlour Coffee in West Burleigh Rd. Thank you John. Our lucky winner were Gayle and June. We know you will enjoy the delicious coffee and extensive menu offered at Parlour Coffee.

Our lovely lady, Jo Chapman, we farewelled yesterday; Jo is moving up North with hubby Bob, to be with family and she will be  much missed by us all. Jo was Club Champion in 2019, sweeping the pool at presentation. So look out North Coast a Champion is coming your way.

This month saw us celebrate the Melbourne Cup, with a good days golfing, and a lovely array of hats worn by our ladies

whilst we sipped on Champers and enjoyed a lovely lunch. whilst the Cup Sweep was drawn.  We were all hoping that we drew the winner….. The Day was organised by Denise, who did, as usual, a fantastic job… unfortunately, there was a small oversight … we forgot to take photos… silly we …. We did have a Best Hat competition, and that was won by Anne Thompson, who looked resplendent in her punters outfit.

Denise has also put together, a beautiful Christmas Hamper Raffle … it is on display in the Clubhouse … tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. and are available at the front desk.
